how you can help

We rely on your support to help children with neuroblastoma get the treatment they need. There are many ways you can help. Call Nikki or Claire, our Community Fundraising Team, on 020 7284 0800 for fundraising guidance and inspiration!

Fundraising doesn’t have to be boring or difficult. You can do anything from organising a cake sale in your office to running 10K, to recycling your old jewellery or jumping out of a plane. Have a look through this section to see some of the many ways you can support children with neuroblastoma.

We welcome volunteers at the Neuroblastoma Alliance! Whether you have just a few hours or days to spare a week, and want to donate your existing skills, build on the expertise you already have or learn new skills, we would love to hear from you.

Our office-based volunteers help with day-to-day administration. Volunteers assist us to achieve more than we would otherwise for children with neuroblastoma. Their contribution is invaluable!

We need volunteers to help us with all kinds of general administration, from doing the filing to packing up t-shirts to send out to fundraisers.

What we ask of our volunteers

We ask that people are available to volunteer for at least a minimum of 1 to 3 days a week for at least 3 months.

We welcome longer commitments.

What we offer you in return

All our volunteers are supported by, and report to, a named staff member who ensures their work is properly managed. So if you are seeking to:

  • Learn new skills or build on your existing skills
  • Gain practical experience of working in an office environment
  • Work as part of a happy and well-motivated team
  • Knowledge that your contribution will directly benefit children with neuroblastoma
  • Develop team skills, take part in important activities and meet new challenges.

Why not download our Volunteer Application Pack, complete and send it in? Alternatively give us a call and request a pack by post.

If you have any questions about volunteering at the NCCA UK, then please get in touch! Call Karen 020 7284 0800 during office hours for a chat about how you could get involved.
