Andrew Selous MP raised the concerns of our parents and supporters about the funding and availability of treatment for Neuroblastoma in the UK, in the House of Commons on 17 July 2012.
Mr Selous had become interested in the issues after being contacted by John MacGlashan, Lilly’s Dad about the lack of treatments available in the UK and the lack of funding for treatments abroad from local Primary Care Trusts (NHS bodies which allocate funding).
We are grateful to Andrew Selous MP for raising the issues and we look forward to the response from the Health Minister, Paul Burstow MP.
We will continue to campaign to ensure every child with Neuroblastoma gets the treatment they need.
